:. Choose Water over Soda!

I have been a soda addict since I was in my childhood. Soda producers like Coke, Pepsi, and companies of that nature provide a caffeine, carbonized based, sugar enhanced killing liquids that are bad for peoples health.
Carbonated beverages make you awake and stimulated at first, but you soon decline into a crash. The crash comes quicker and quicker until eventually it makes you just feel sluggish after drinking it. Soda contains more sugar than any person ever needs in one serving.
Some companies even use the phrase "diet" drinks and fool you into thinking that they aren't using sugar when really they are using NutraSweet or a product of that sort that has been proven to give people cancer.
Water is the better alternative. It is everywhere. And the best part is that it is 100% FREE! You can get it for FREE at any local water fountain which most every building in this nation provides. And it is in most local sinks in ones home! Wow, imagine this amazing opportunity to save so much money if you are an usual soda consumer! Being free isn't even the best part! The best part is that it is also healthy for you. :)
Make the switch today!
Drink more water, and save money.

  1. Dear Sun Puking Planets,
I love drinking water. This is all I ever have, except for hot chocolate. Whenever I do have soda I am practically bouncing off the walls. Water really helps to refreshen me, plus it somehow gives me energy. I am also sick right now, so water is the only thing that truly helps this disease to leave me alone. It is an altogether awesome liquid-it's free and refreshing! Thank you so much for promoting water, this made my day!

  2. Dear D-mass,
This is something I am struggling with. Everyday I will pick up two glasses and fill one with iced root beer and the other one with just root beer, it's for my refill, and totally skip up the water. I won't even think for a second about drinking water! I love how you made the comment about how the water is free. This is the absolute best part about water. It is free and since we are on a college campus it is everywhere!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS BLOG!!!

  3. Dear Dylan,
Water's good. Soda sucks, like your face! Just kidding... But it is really hard to constantly drink water. Especially at UCA when you have such a huge drink station to choose from. I do like the part where you say water's free. And it's errwhere! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS BLOG!! U R WAY 2 KOOOOOOOOL!!!

  4. Dear my lovely Dyl-Wayne :),
I absolutely love your blog topic. I also think people think that more people should cut down on their soda consumption and drink more water. Water is such a better alternative to soda. Water being free is the best part of the whole argument. Thank you so much for posting! :)

  5. Dear Dyl-Wayne on the track!,

I have also had a pop drinking problem. Dr. Pepper has always been my favorite soft drink and number one choice when i was thirsty. I can't even imagine how much money I have spent my whole life on soft drinks. They make a fortune off of their unhealthy drinks. I definitely agree that the contain way too much caffeine for just one person. If only people really knew how harmful they can be. Thanks for blogging!

  6. dear dylwayne,
i STRONGLY agree with this post.
you took the words right out of my mouth.
    why not drink water?
its free, much healthier for you, and is literally a miracle.
i feel that sodas are addicting, and i found that the best way not to perfer their taste over water is to not drink them. instead drink water at the start of the day and dont tempt your body with the sweet taste of soft drinks.

if you coninue to write about topics that concern me, i will continue to comment on your blogs..
    thanks, floyd

  7. Dear Dylwayne,

I agree with your post and drink water every day. I try to carry a bottle of water in my backpack every day and fill it back up from water fountains which dosent cost me a dime. I also think that by drinking water your going to be much healthier and feel much better about yourself.

    Thanks,
    Nameless

  8. Dear Dylwayne,

I have to say, this post is very true. I also have a problem drinking to many cokes. Especially when I was younger, I hated drinking water. I just didnt like the way it tasted. But now, I love water. It is definantly better for you and so much easier to get. I actually have a cousin that had a brain tumor. They said that this could have been caused from him drinking so many diet drinks, because he had been doing it since he was little. Anyway, stuff like that really does happen. Thanks for your post and all your good work!
